Job Description

Requires an individual with 1+ years of typing and word processing experience; possesses excellent clerical and communication skills, with heavy phone contact.

  • Greet all individuals and supply information as needed, receive incoming calls; refer all information to appropriate staff members.
  • Support BHH team in areas such as:
  • Scheduling
  • Referral and admission tracking
  • Training and technical assistance
  • Communication with other service providers
  • Enrollee reminders
  • Track to ensure health assessments and other plan of care documentation requirements are completed
  • Request and send records and other information required for care coordination.
  • Perform a full range of administrative activities requiring an advanced level of accountability, problem solving and interpersonal contacts.
  • Reconcile data errors to ensure BHH services are sent to DMHAS and billable.
  • Follows BHH practice guidelines as appropriate and manages confidential records and correspondence

 

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM.
  • Knowledge of office administration and management.
  • Knowledge of department and/or unit policies and procedures.
  • Proper grammar, punctuation and spelling skills.
  • Business communication and math skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including personal computers and other electronic devices.
  • Ability to use Office Suite software.

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
